I found these fabulous feathers today, no idea what I'm going to do with them but something will call for them one day!

A valentines hat

I have been thinking about making a hart shaped hat for a while now but not getting round to it. I found a nice bit of polystyrene this week so decided it was the time to try and carve myself a new hat block. 

I'm always a bit rubbish at getting the sides even so i decided not to even try. 

I thought it might need some more definition once the felt was on. 
I'm really pleased with what came out though. 

I just need somewhere to wear it to now!

Hi there, I've decided to challenge myself and write a bit about some of the things i fill my time up with.  

I guess i should start by telling you a little about me though.  I like a list so lets do it that way:

That'll do for now i think.

So what have i been up to this week, well, I've been using up old buttons and scrap fabric to make some flower hair clips, they are easy to make and really pretty, this one is my favorite.
